WGA awarded design contract for new youth arts center in historic firehouse in Little Village
National Museum of Mexican Art to convert a vacant historic firehouse at 2358 S. Whipple Street into a new branch of Yollocalli Arts Reach – the Museum’s popular and award-winning youth outreach program. Construction is underway and the center is expected to open in 2025.
WGA designs an addition and a remodel at a CPS elementary school
WGA completes a multi-year improvement project at CPS’s Clissold Elementary School to expand pre-kindergarten programs. Major upgrades include an addition containing four new pre-k classrooms, a new cafeteria, improvements to the existing playground and a remodel of the existing modular building.

WGA selected as a Wendy’s Preferred Architect
WGA has been named a charter member in the Wendy’s Preferred Architect Program – a nationwide program established by The Wendy’s Company, the international headquarters of the Wendy’s restaurant system.
WGA designs new CPS pre-kindergarten school in busy Lincoln Park neighborhood.
WGA’s unique design incorporates new pre-kindergarten classrooms and program space into a former commercial unit on the first floor of a mixed-use building. The press conference held for the grand opening of the school praised WGA for the team’s attention to detail, careful selection of colors, and extensive discussions with the building residents. Luis Montoya, WGA’s Sr. Project Manager and former CPS student assigned to the project, was also honored for his hard work and effort to create a successful project.
